Achinga Payar Mezhukkupuratti - Ingredients:

Achinga Payar  250 g
Oil   4 tbsp
Salt to taste
Achinga Payar Mezhukkupuratti - Directions:
  1. Cut Achinga Payar length wise.

  2. Pour oil into a hard bottomed pan and add Achinga Payar to the oil.

  3. Add salt and a little water. Use very little water only.

  4. Cook covered on low flame for about 2 minutes.

  5. Open the lid and cook on low flame, for another 5-6 minutes, until the rawness of the payar disappears.

  6. serve with Rice.
