Achinga Payar Thoran - Ingredients:

Achinga Payar sliced into small pieces  1/4 kg  
Desicated Coconut  1 cup
Green Chillies sliced lengthwise  2 
Garlic flakes  2
Curry Leaves a few 
Dry Red Chillies 2 nos 
Mustard Seeds   1 tsp
Black gram (Uzhunthu parippu)  1 tsp
Coconut Oil   2 tsp
Salt to taste
Turmeric Powder   1/2 tsp
Achinga Payar Thoran - Directions:
  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds and black gram and allow them to splutter.

  2. Add curry leaves and dry red chillies and fry them for a minute.

  3. Add the Achinga Payar to this along with salt and turmeric powder.

  4. Add a little water to this and cook them covered for 2-3 minutes.

  5. Crush the desicated coconut, garlic and green chillies.

  6. Add the coconut mix to the Achinga payar and mix them well until all the water is gone.

  7. Serve hot with rice.
