Chana Usal - Ingredients:

black chana 1 cup 
freshly grated coconut  cup 
mustard seeds  tsp 
green chili 1  
curry leaves 5
chopped coriander leaves 2 tbsp 
ghee 1 tsp 
Salt to taste
Chana Usal - Directions:
  1. Soak the chana overnight or for 4-5 hours.

  2. Steam it for 15 minutes.

  3. Heat ghee and add mustard seeds and green chilies.

  4. Once the seeds splutter, add the curry leaves

  5. Just before taking it off the heat, add coriander leaves.

  6. Pour it over the cooked chana.

  7. Add salt and mix well.

  8. Garnish with coconut and serve.
