Fish Biriyani - Ingredients:

Seer Fish  pieces 10
Salt to taste
Turmeric Powder  1/2 tsp
Chilly Powder  1 tsp
Oil for frying
Big Onion sliced lengthwise 4
Green Chilly crushed  10
Ginger crushed  4" piece
Garlic  10 cloves
Coriander Leaves 50 gms
Coconut shredded and grinded  1/2 coconut
Curd   1 cup
Basmathi Rice  1/2 kg
Garam Masala 1 tsp
Ghee 1 tsp
Fish Biriyani - Directions:
  1. Marinate the fish pieces with salt, turmeric powder and red chilly powder for about 1 hour.

  2. Fry the fish pieces in oil.

  3. Fry the onions, green chillies, ginger, garlic and coriander leaves in the oil left over after frying fish.

  4. Pour the curd and grinded coconut along with this.

  5. Add the fried fish pieces to this and cook with some gravy for some time.

  6. Fry the rice in ghee. Pour double water and required salt and cook the rice until half done to make ghee rice.

  7. Spread the rice in a vessel and sprinkle garam masala on this.

  8. Place the fish pieces above this. Make layers of rice and fish like this and bake the rice in the preheated oven for half an hour.
