Thur Dhal 1 Cup
Tamarind water 2 Cup
Green chilies 4
Green spinach leaves 1 Bunch
Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp.
Asafetida powder one pinch
Sambar powder 2 tbsp
Oil 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Turmeric powder a pinch
Green Spinach curry - Directions:
Cook the thur dal.
In a deep pan, pour oil and make seasoning.
Fry cut Spinach and green chilies. Add tamarind water and sambar powder.
Add cooked Dhal, salt, asafetida powder and turmeric powder.
Allow it to boil for about 5 to 10 minutes and stir occasionally
Serve with cooked rice and ghee or sesame oil.
