Potato poha - Ingredients:

poha 1 cup 
onion(cut into small pieces) 1/4 cup  
asafoetida A pinch  
potato(cut into small pieces) 1/4 cup 
Curry leaves a few
mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
green chillies 2
sugar 1/2 tsp
turmeric A pinch 
oil 1 tsp
coriander leaves a few
Lemon juice(optional) 1 tbsp
grated coconut 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Potato poha - Directions:
  1. Wash poha and drain water. Keep it aside.

  2. Heat oil and add mustard. When they start popping, add curry leaves, green chillies. Fry for sometime. Add onion. Fry till they turn brownish. Now add potato pieces and

  3. turmeric. Sprinkle some water, cover and cook till potatoes become soft.

  4. Now add sugar, salt, asafoetida(diluted in a tea spoon of water) and poha. Mix well. Fry for 1-2 mins on a medium flame. Add coconut and coriander leaves. Mix well and remove from flame.

  5. Serve.
