Aval Idli - Ingredients:

Parboiled Rice 1 Cup
Rice 1 Cup
Aval 1 Cup
Blackgram Dal  Cup
Salt to taste
Aval Idli - Directions:
  1. Clean and soak the Ingredients: separately 8 hours.

  2. Grind to make the batter similar to that of the regular idli batter.

  3. Let it ferment overnight.

  4. Add salt and mix the batter thoroughly before pouring on to the idli plates.

  5. Steam cook for 10-15 minutes.
