Brinjal Kuzhambu - Ingredients:

Brinjal 200 gms
Small Onion chopped 10
Tomato chopped 1
Thuvaram Paruppu 1 cup.
Tamarind small lemon sized
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Coriander Powder 2 tbsp
Red Chilli Powder 1  tbsp
Salt to taste
Curry leaves A few
Mustard 1 tsp
Asafoetida a pinch 
Urad dhal 1 tsp
fenugreek little.
Brinjal Kuzhambu - Directions:
  1. Boil Dhal with turmeric to fine paste.

  2. Cut Brinjal into small pieces.

  3. Add Brinjal, onions, tomato to cooked dhal.

  4. Add kuzhambu powder and salt to the above mixture.

  5. Add water to cover and cook in low flame.

  6. Extract juice from the tamarind and add.

  7. Heat little oil in a pan and add all seasoning materials and add to the Kuzhambu.

  8. Allow it to boil .

  9. Serve hot with rice or chapathi.
