Brinjal-Tomato Chutney - Ingredients:

Brinjal 1/4 kg
Tomato 2
Big onion 1
Ginger 1 inch piece.
Green chillies 3
Oil tbsp
Mustard 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste.
Brinjal-Tomato Chutney - Directions:
  1. Cook Brinjal in water.

  2. Remove skin mash the fleashy portion and keep aside.

  3. Put tomato in boiling water and remove skin.

  4. Mash the peeled tomato.

  5. Heat oil in a pan.Season mustard with curry leaves .

  6. Add and fry finely chopped onion,green chilli till onion is soft.

  7. Add the mashed brinjal and tomato with salt and bring to boil.

  8. Serve with idli dosa.
