Cabbage Ambado(Cabbage Vada) - Ingredients:

chopped cabbage 1 cup
Thur Dal 1 cup
Rice flour 1 cup
green chillies, finely chopped  5
onions finely chopped 2
coriander leaves finely chopped  a few
red chillies 3 
Grated coconut 2 tbsp
ginger 1 inch piece.
tamarind size of gooseberry
Salt to taste.
Oil for frying
Cabbage Ambado(Cabbage Vada) - Directions:
  1. Soak rice and channa dal for an hour.

  2. Grind to a very coarse by adding minimal water.

  3. Blend to a coarse paste the coconut, tamarind,red chillies and ginger.

  4. Mix with batter.

  5. Add the chopped cabbage, onions, green chillies and coriander leaves to it and salt to taste.

  6. Make small balls, flatten each ball in your palm and deep fry in hot oil till they turn golden brown.

  7. Serve with chutneys.
