Yam cut to small square pieces 2 cups
chopped Button onions 10 nos
Salt to taste
0il 2 tbsp
mustard seed a few
Red chilly 1
Peppercorns 1/4 tsp
garlic flakes 4-5
Chena (Yam) olarthiyathu - Directions:
Boil a cup of water and when boils add yam pieces.
When cooked gently lush the yam to small lumps.
crush button onions,redchilly,pepper corns and garlic.
Season mustard in oil and when mustard splutters add crushed ingredients and fry for a while.
Add this to cooked yam and saute .
Add salt to taste and serve.
