Coconut Boli - Ingredients:

Bengal Gram Dal 2 cups
Maida 2 cup
Jaggerry 2 cups
Gingerelly oil 4 tsp
Coconut Scrapings
Cardamom Powder 1 tsp
Ghee for frying
Coconut Boli - Directions:
  1. With flour and water make a dough.

  2. Add Gingerelly oil and keep for atleast 3 hours

  3. Boil the gram and strain it.

  4. Fry coconut scrapings with cardamom till golden colour by adding a tsp of ghee.

  5. Grind gram,coconut fried and jagerry without adding water to fine paste.

  6. Make into balls and keep aside.

  7. Take dough and make to balls.

  8. Take a banana leaf and apply oil on it

  9. Spread the maida dough slightly on the leaf and in the centre keep the gram ball and cover it with dough.

  10. Flattern well.

  11. Remove from leaf and roast in a griddle pouring little oil all around boli.
