Cream of tomato soup. - Ingredients:

Tomatoes 5
Butter 2 oz
Flour 2 oz
Water 1.5 cup
Onion 1 
Pepper corn 4
Bay leaves 2
Milk 1 cup
Cream 2 tsp(optional)
Cream of tomato soup. - Directions:
  1. Chopp tomatoes.

  2. Heat 1 oz butter and saute tomatoes. and onions together with bay leaves and pepper corn.

  3. Add water and simmer until it is soft.

  4. Pour through sieve.

  5. Heat remaining butter add flour and gradually add milk stirring continuously.

  6. Remove from fire and add the prepared tomato puree.

  7. Add salt and pepper and heat.Note not to boil.

  8. Add cream and serve.
