Dal Gost - Ingredients:

Channa dal 4 tbsp
Mutton 1 kg
Onion2
Garlic 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Cumin 1 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Ginger 1/2 tsp
Chili Powder 1 tsp
Ghee 4 tbsp
Garam mAsala 1 tsp
Bay leaf 1
Cinnamon 1 inch stick
Curd 3 tbsp
Salt to taste
Dal Gost - Directions:
  1. Soak dal in water for 3 hours.

  2. Cut mutton to one inch piece.

  3. Slice one onion , grind the other onion and garlic to paste.

  4. Mix all powder spices to the paste.

  5. Heat ghee and fry sliced onion to golden brown colour.

  6. Lower heat.Add masala,cinnamon,bay leaves and fry for another 2 minutes.

  7. Add meat and curd and mix throughly.

  8. Add salt and simmer till liquid is dried up.

  9. Add the drained dal and fry forfive minutes.

  10. Add little water.

  11. Bring to boil and simmer covered, over low fire till dal and meat is cooked.
