Dal Spinach Curry - Ingredients:

spinach   3 cups chopped
moong dal   4 tbsp
onion chopped  1 
tomato   chopped  1 
green chilli chopped 1 
salt to taste
sugar   1 tbsp
oil   2 tbsp
Dal Spinach Curry - Directions:
  1. Wash the spinach and dal and put it in a vessel to boil with half a cup of water.

  2. After 15 minutes when both the ingredients are cooked, remove and wash

  3. them with cold water.

  4. Squeeze out all the excess water and grind to a fine paste.

  5. Heat oil in a pan and fry the onion, chilli and tomatoes.

  6. Put in the salt and sugar. Stir. Add the spinach paste and mix well.

  7. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Serve hot with chapatis or rice.
