Dhal(Parippu) Thoviyal - Ingredients:

toor dhal 1/2 cup  
red chilies 2-3 
oil 1 tsp. 
coconut 1/4 
salt to taste
water 1/2 cup  
 

Dhal(Parippu) Thoviyal - Directions:
  1. Saute toor dhal and chilies in oil until golden brown. Grind coconut, dhal, chilies

  2. and salt in a blender with 1/2 cup of water, into a fine paste. Goes well with rice.

  3. May add a clove of garlic when grinding.
