Fried Beans - Ingredients:

green beans 1/2 kg
water 1 cup  
salt to taste
sambar powder 1 tsp. 
coconut (shredded) 2 Tbsp.  
oil 3 Tbsp. 
mustard seeds 1/2 tsp. 
urad dhal 1/2 tsp. 
onion (chopped) 1 Tbsp. 
 
Fried Beans - Directions:
  1. Dice green beans into small pieces. Mix 1 cup of water, salt and sambar powder

  2. with the cut beans in a saucepan and cook until they become soft.

  3. When the water evaporates, add the coconut to it. Stir the mixture an remove from the heat.

  4. In a frying pan, heat the oil and saute mustard seeds and urad dhal.

  5. When the mustard seeds crack, add the onion.

  6. When the onion turns into golden color, add the cooked beans.

  7. Mix well and remove from the heat.
