Green Plantain peeled and chopped into 1 pieces 2 cups
water 4 cups
Salt to taste
button onions 2 tsp
dry red chillies 3
peppercorns A few
garlic cloves 6
curry leaves A few
oil 2 tsp
Green Platain Mezhukku Puratti - Directions:
Wash the plantain piece twice, drain and cook in boiling water.
Add salt and Drain off the excess water.
Crush button onions,dry red chillies,peppercorns,garlic cloves. Heat oil in a pan. Add the crushed ingredients. Saute well.
Add the cooked plantain pieces and mix gently. When the pieces are well coated, remove from heat.
Serve hot with rice.
