Kachia mooru - Ingredients:

Butter milk(mooru) 3 cups
Turmeric powder 1 tbsp
Curry leaves a few

Grind to paste

Cococnut(nariyal)grated(optional) 3/4 tbsp.
Red chilli powder 1 pinch
Butter onion large 1
Cummin(jeera) seeds a pinch

Refined oil 1 tbsp
Mustard seed 1/4 tbsp
Fenugreek seeds (methi dana) a pinch.
Dry red chilli 1


Kachia mooru - Directions:
  1. Mix the turmeric powder ,curry leaves and salt with butter milk.

  2. Add the ground paste and mix well

  3. Heat the mixture over low heat,String continuously.

  4. When the mixture is just about to come to boilremove from heat.Stir continuously until it cools.

  5. Heat oil in a pan;add mustard seeds,fenugreek seeds,and dried red chilli;saute for a while.Remove the pan from heat and when it cools,add this tempering to butter milk.
