Kadumbuttu - Ingredients:

Rice coarsely ground, 1 cup
Water 2 cups
Ghee 1 tsp
Salt to taste.
Kadumbuttu - Directions:
  1. Boil water by adding a pinch of salt to it.

  2. Add ghee and then the rice; allowing it to thicken to a paste.

  3. Make small balls while the dough is still warm.

  4. In a steamer, place a muslin cloth and place the small balls in the muslin cloth and cover well.

  5. Close the lid and steam for 20 minutes.

  6. Serve with pandi curry.
