Katluma Puri - Ingredients:

Maida 2 cups
Melted Dalda(Vegetable dalda) 3 tbsp
Hot water 3/4 cup
Oil for frying
Salt to taste.
Katluma Puri - Directions:
  1. Remove 3 tbsp of flour and keep aside.

  2. To the remaining add water and salt to make soft dough.

  3. Knead and keep it covered for half an hour.

  4. Add 1/2 tbsp of dalda.Knead again and make balls of lemon size.

  5. Mix 2 tsp of flour and 2 tbsp of melted dalda.

  6. Roll the balls to thin chapathis.

  7. Smear it with flour and ghee mixture and fold to two.

  8. Smear the ghee mixture over it again fold it straight and roll it.

  9. Press it lightly and roll to thick puris.

  10. Deep fry in oil and remove when golden brown.
