Koottu curry - Ingredients:

Channa Dhal 1/2 cup ( soaked over night)
Raw banana  3 cups
Yam  3 cup
Dry Red chillies  6
Urad dal  2 tsp
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Grated coconut  6 tbsp
Jaggery   1 piece  
Oil   3 tbsp
Mustard    tsp
Curry leaves a few
salt to taste
Cumin seeds- 1 tsp 
Seesame seeds 1/2 tsp
Koottu curry - Directions:
  1. Cook channa dhal seperately with 3 pinch turmeric powder in a preassure cooker.

  2. Cook yam and raw banana together in salt, chilli powder and turmeric powder.

  3. Mix this channa dhal dhal, yam and raw banana together.

  4. Grind coconut to a thick paste . Add this to the channa dhal and add jaggery to it. Cook with required amount of water. Now mix the vegetables and allow it to boil.

  5. Heat oil in a pan .Add mustard, urud dhal dry red chilli fresh grated coconut, cumin powder , curry leaves and seesame seeds.

  6. Add this to curry prepared.

  7. Serve hot with rice.
