KOTTIGAE - Ingredients:

RAW RICE     2 CUPS
BOILED RICE 1 CUP
URAD DAL    2 CUP
baking soda 1/4 tsp
salt
JACK FRUT LEAVES

KOTTIGAE - Directions:
  1. SOAK RICE,URAD DAL FOR 4-5 HRS.THEN GRIND IT WITH BOILED RICE IN A WET GRINDER,IT SHOULD BE LITTLE THICKER TO IDLLI BATER ADD BAKING SODA. .ALLOW IT TO FERMENT FOR 6-7 Hrs.THEN ADD SALT FOR TASTE.

  2. NOW USING JACKFRUIT LEAVES MAKE IT A MOULD TYPE USING BROOM STICK.POUR THIS BATTER & ALLOW IT TO STEAM FOR 30 MINS.REMOVE THE LEAF & CUT IT INTO DESIRED SHAPE.
