green peas 1 cup
mushrooms kg
red tomatoes 5-6
onions 2
turmeric powder tsp
red chili powder tsp
green chilies finely chopped 2
cumin or jeera seeds tsp
garlic ginger paste 1 tsp
coriander leaves 1 tsp
garam masala 1 tsp
oil 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Mushroom Matar - Directions:
Wash thoroughly mushrooms and cut in to pieces.
Cut tomatoes in to two pieces and then grate it and discard tomato skin.
Cut onions in to fine pieces.
Heat the oil in heavy pan on medium flame.
Add jeera seeds, onion, finely chopped green chilies, ginger garlic paste and fry till light brown.
Add turmeric and red chili powder.
Add tomato puree and fry till oil separates.
Now add green peas and chopped mushroom pieces.
Transfer this in to a pressure cooker and cook till 2 whistles.
Serve hot with roti, rice, pulav etc
