Mussels Curry - Ingredients:

mussels cleaned 1 kg 
coconut milk 1 cup
onion, finely chopped 1
garlic-ginger paste 2 tsp 
turmeric   tsp 
cumin powder 1 tsp 
coriander powder 1 tsp 
dried red chilies (optional) 2 
vegetable oil 3 tbsp 
salt,  to taste
pepper powder to taste 
fresh cilantro leaves to garnish

 
Mussels Curry - Directions:
  1. Heat the oil in a large, heavy-bottom skillet.

  2. Add the onion and cook over low heat, stirring occasionally for 7 minutes, or until gold.

  3. Add the garlic-ginger paste, cumin, coriander, turmeric, chilies and pinch of salt and black pepper and cook, stirring constantly for additional 2 minutes.

  4. Add coconut milk, bring to a boil.

  5. Add the mussels, cover, and cook for 10 minutes or until the mussels have opened.

  6. Discard any mussels that remain shut. Transfer the mussels with the coconut sauce to a serving dish.

  7. Garnish with a fresh cilantro and serve immediately.
