Okra curry - Ingredients:

coriander powder 1 tsp
chilli powder   tsp
turmeric powder   tsp
pepper powder   tsp
aniseed   tsp
cinnamon 1
cardamom pods 2
cloves 4
oil   cup
okra, sliced 1 lengthwise 2 cups
onion, sliced 1 cup
ginger chopped ,  1 tsp
green chillies, half slit 5
curry leaves a few
thin coconut milk 1 cups
Salt to taste
Lime juice to taste 
thick coconut milk   cup
Okra curry - Directions:
  1. Grind ingredients 1 to 8 to a fine paste.

  2. Heat oil in a pan and saute the sliced okra. Keep aside.

  3. In the same pan, add the onion, ginger, green chillies and curry leaves.

  4. Add the ground paste and saute for a while. When the oil separates, pour in the thin coconut milk and bring to oil.

  5. Add the sauted okra, salt and lime juice and simmer till the gravy thickens.

  6. Gently add the thick coconut milk. Mix well and remove from heat.
