Red gram 4 tbsp.
Refined oil 1 tbsp
Dry red chillies 2
Asafoetida 1/4 tbsp.
Salt to taste.
Parippu(red gram) chutney - Directions:
Heat the oil in a pan;Add red gram and dry red chillies .saute until the gram turn golden.Add the remaining ingredients and saute for 2 minutes.Remove and keep aside to cool.
When cool grind to apaste in agrinder,adding a little water.
Serve with rice.
