Pista Burfi - Ingredients:

unsalted pista  3/4 cup
milk 2 1/2 cup 
Rose water  1 tsp
food coloring(green) 2 drops 
water 1/2 cup 
sugar 5 tbsp  
Pista Burfi - Directions:
  1. In a heavy based pan, place the milk over low heat.

  2. Stir occasionally for 1 hour until the milk reduces its original volume by 1/5th.

  3. Roast the pista nuts and crush them finely .

  4. Then combine the water & sugar. Heat them to make a thick syrup.

  5. Keep covered and warm. Add the sugar syrup, roasted pistas, rose-water and green coloring to the reduced milk.

  6. Stir until the mixture holds together without sticking to the pan.

  7. Spread the mixture in a grease.

  8. When cooled and set cut into squares.
