potato 1 kg (boiled and mashed)
onion 250 gm
green chilli 25 gm
turmeric powder 1 tsp
ginger 1 small piece
mustard 1/2 tsp
curry leaves,
salt to taste.
For the batter
bengal gram flour 2 tsp
water 4 tsp
egg 1
salt to taste
Potato Bonda - Directions:
Mix all the ingredients well for the batter.
Heat oil and saute mustard, onion, chilli, turmeric powder, ginger and curry leaves.
Add salt and mashed potato.
Mix well.When cool shape into balls. Dip the balls in the batter and fry in oil.
