Tamarind(imli)Orange sized soaked in warm water for 20
minutes,juice extarcted 150 gms
Ginger finely chopped 150 gms
Refined oil 1 tbsp
Mustard seeds 1 tbsp
Green chillies finely chopped 6-7
Turmeric(haldi) powder 1/4 tbsp
Salt to taste.

Puli Inji - Directions:
Heat the oil in apan ; Saute the mustard seeds till they start crackling.Add ginger and green chillies ;saute.Remove from heat and pour in the tamarind water .Add the turmeric powder.
Return the pan to heat and boil the mixture on low heat till it thickens. Add salt and jaggery,and mix well.
