Pulungari - Ingredients:

Brinjal 2
Drumstick 1/2
Plantain 1/2(optional)
Tamarind juice extract from lemon sized.
Coconut grated 1/2
Red chilli powder 1 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Small onion 2
Oil 2 tsp
Mustard seed 1 tsp
Curry leaves few.
Pulungari - Directions:
  1. Cut brinjal ,drumstick , plantain and cook until the vegetables are cooked.

  2. Gring coconut with chilli powder and salt to very fine paste.

  3. When vegetables are cooked,add this grinded mixture and boil it.

  4. Add tamarind juice and boil for 2 minutes and keep aside.

  5. Season mustard in oil .Add curry leaves and chopped onion until fine aroma comes.

  6. Add this to the prepared curry.
