Pumpkin 1/4 kg
Van payar 1/4 cup
Salt to taste.
Coconut grated 1/2 cup
Pepper pods 10
Turmeric 1/4 tsp
Red chilli powder 1 tsp
Mustard 1 tsp
Oil 1 tsp
Curry leaves a few
Pumpkin Kootu Curry. - Directions:
Pressure cook van payar with salt.
Clean and chop pumpin and cook with water and salt.
Grind cocconut with red chilli powder,turmric pepper pods and salt.
When the pumpkin is cooked smash it and add, van payar cooked and grinded coconut .
Cook for few minutes.
Season with mustard and curry leaves.
Serve hot with rice as side dish.
