Raw Banana Thoran - Ingredients:

Vazhakka (Raw banana)   200 g
Coconut      cup
Green chilly     4
Turmeric powder     teaspoon
Garlic     3 pods
Shallot     3
Cumin powder     teaspoon
Coconut oil     2 tbsp
Dry red chilly    2
Mustard seed    1 tsp
Curry leaves    a few
Salt to taste.
Raw Banana Thoran - Directions:
  1. Peel the bananas and cut into small cubes.

  2. Wash them well.

  3. In a pressure cooker, cook the bananas with enough water and salt.

  4. Grind ingredients 2 coarsely.

  5. Heat oil in a pan, splutter mustard seeds, add dry red chilly, curry leaves.

  6. Add the cooked bananas and grinded coconut.

  7. Mix well and cook on a low flame for 2-3 minutes.
