small ripe mangoes kg
water 1 cup
green chillies, slit 4
chilli powder 1 tsp
turmeric powder tsp
curry leaves A few
Salt to taste
cumin powder tsp
coconut milk cup
For the seasoning:
oil 2 tsp
mustard seeds 1 tsp
dry red chillies, halved 2
Ripe Mango Curry - Directions:
Remove skin from mangoes, add 1 cup water and cook with green chillies, chilli powder, turmeric powder, curry leaves and salt.
Add cumin powder to coconut milk. When the mango mixture cools, add the coconut milk and mix well.
Heat oil in a pan and splutter the mustard seeds. Add red chillies and pour into the curry.
Serve hot with rice.
