Spinach 250 gms
Onion chopped 1 cup
Red chilly 2-4
Salt to taste
Garlic crushed 2 flakes.
Oil 1 tbsp
mustard 1 tsp
Red chilli powder 1 tsp
turmeric 1/4 tsp
Curry leaves a few
Spinach (Cheera) Fry - Directions:
Throughly clean spinach cut it to one inch piece and keep aside.
Heat a kadai and season mustard in oil with curry leaves.
Add the crushed garlic,onion chopped and saute till onion turns brown .
Add red chilli powder,turmeric and fry well.
Add the spinach and salt and cover the kadai and cook in low flame until it is cooked.
Serve hot with rice.
