ThoorDal Rasam - Ingredients:

Toor dal  cup 
Red chillies 3
Cocunut gratings 2 tbsp
Coriander seeds t tbsp
Jeera 1 tbsp 
Salt to taste
ThoorDal Rasam - Directions:
  1. Soak tamarind in water. Roast toor dal, coriander seeds, jeera and chillies in a little oil. Grind with coconut.

  2. Add water, extracted tamarind juice, salt and boil.

  3. Season mustard and asafoetida in ghee. Add it to the rasam.

  4. Garnish with curry leaves and coriander leaves.
