Vella Kozhakattai - Ingredients:

rice flour 2 cups
oil 1 tbsp 
salt A pinch 
 
For Filling
coconut (grated) 1 
jaggery (powdered) 1 cup 
ghee 1 tbsp 
Vella Kozhakattai - Directions:
  1. Mix grated coconut, jaggery and ghee in a heavy pan.

  2. Cook on a medium flame, stirring continuously till thick.

  3. Allow to cool. Form small balls and set aside. Heat 2 cups of water in a pan.

  4. Add salt, oil and flour, then stir continuously till dough leaves the sides of the pan. Allow to cool and knead well.

  5. Take a small ball of dough and with greased palms pat into a disc.

  6. Put some filling in the middle and seal it.

  7. Make all Kozhakattais and steam till done.
